Volunteers Needed!: We are looking for volunteers that want to give back to the community.  We provide all required classes, training, and equipment.  Not looking for the excitement of firefighting but still want to give back?  We also have an Auxiliary staff that helps with the day to day functions of the department such as fundraisers and other events. Clean Sweep

Five area communities are teaming up to provide their residents a venue to dispose of hazardous waste, appliances and electronics. With the help of Wisconsin Clean Sweep Grants, the City of Burlington, Town of Burlington, Village of Union Grove, Town of Dover and the Village of Waterford have collaborated to hold this event on Saturday, August 14, 2021 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Enter at the City of Burlington Wastewater Treatment Facility, 2100 S Pine Street, Burlington.

MATERIALS MUST BE LOADED IN THE VEHICLE TRUNK OR TRUCK BED

Staff and volunteers cannot remove items from the front or back seats of the vehicle.

If you are a City or Town of Burlington, Village of Union Grove, Town of Dover, Village of Rochester or Village of Waterford resident, you can drop your materials off for FREE. There is a $35 fee to ASDA for each television/monitors. Payment is required at the time of disposal as either cash or check. You must provide proof of residency with a valid driver’s license.

Latex paint, Medications and Food/Clothing/Household items will not be accepted for the 2020 event.
