The Town of Burlington is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to serve as Municipal Court Clerk for the Town Municipal Court. This is a skilled and technical position that plays a vital role in supporting the judicial process and ensuring the efficient operation of the court.
Position: Municipal Court Clerk
Location: Town of Burlington, Racine County, WI
Reports To: Municipal Judge, Town of Burlington
Position Summary:
The Municipal Court Clerk is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Town of Burlington Municipal Court. This position requires independent judgment, discretion, and a strong understanding of administrative procedures to ensure accurate and efficient court proceedings and documentation.
Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

Oversee the overall operation of the Municipal Court’s processes and proceedings.

Develop and implement administrative procedures to ensure court efficiency.

Prepare, maintain, and submit daily and monthly financial and statistical reports for:

Town of Burlington

Town Municipal Court

Racine County

State of Wisconsin

Work closely with the Municipal Judge and other town departments.

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with legal and procedural requirements.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills.

Experience in court operations, legal procedures, or public administration preferred.
