Fundraising for the Fire Department

Dear Town of Burlington Residents,

The Town of Burlington Fire Department would like to thank you for your support with our annual fundraisers. Throughout the year, our department holds fundraisers to help offset the cost of equipment and training.  Our fundraising normally includes the Annual Pancake Breakfast, the Bowling Fundraiser, and of course, our largest fundraiser, the Annual Cash Raffle.

Due to the Covid 19 situation for the past year and a half, we chose not to have these gatherings in doing our part to keep everyone safe. Public safety is something we take very seriously, that is why we have chosen to not hold our Annual Pancake Breakfast again for 2021. We are going to hold our Annual Cash Raffle, and the winners will be drawn at noon on Sunday, August 1st, Station 3, 30130 Meadow Drive in Brown’s Lake.  You need not be present to win.

Suggested donations for the tickets are $3.00 each or $10.00 for all four tickets. If you can assist us in our fundraising event, please contact us prior to August 1st.  You can bring raffle tickets to Burlington Town Hall, 32288 Bushnell Rd (Hwy 142). Business hours are M-F 8am to 4pm. If you need to buy raffle tickets, please contact Town Hall or a member of the Town of Burlington Fire Department.  Donation checks can be made out to: Town of Burlington Fire Department or TOBFD.

In addition to our annual fundraising efforts, we participate in various projects. Our service projects include Blood Drives, Smoke Detector Handout/Awareness, Fire Prevention week at Winkler School, Flag Detail and MDA’s Fill the Boot Drive. These activities are all completed with our 30 active members.

The dedicated men and women continue to volunteer many hours in service and training to serve our community. We are always looking for more help to continue our efforts. If you, or anyone you know, would be interested in joining our team, please contact the Town of Burlington Fire Department at (262) 763-3070 ext. 106. All volunteers must be 18 years old with a high school diploma.

Thank you for your continued support.

Respectfully,

Town of Burlington Fire Department Members
